Flagrant watch buuut lacks the guarantee
This is absolutely a great watch, it wears just right and looks great.Nevertheless it is sent without a traditional guarantee, given that it is an expensive watch I believe this should be a must.That's why I didn't give 5 stars, it casts qualms about its authenticity.

It is effortlessly to cast marks over the steel details in front of the watch. Machine is good, but noisy as well, it is a ponderous watch.

Exquisite Watch
There are many variations of this maquette, Riviera, and many colors for this variation. But be sure to get this one with the rubber strap as opposed to bracelet and black dial as opposed to dead white and 3 white chrono/seconds circles as opposed to 2 and lastly, the non-rotating bezel. Why? This is a emotionless-ringer for the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore! Well, as least from far away and to non-watch savvy admirers. The Princess Oak Offshore is a really beautiful watch but cost just way too much (into the tens of thousands). By getting this, it's almost a cheaper account of it except of course it's not AP and it's not an octagonal shaped case but one of a twelve-sided polygon. This is still a beautiful BM watch and nothing to be abashed of with precision timing and chronograph function. You'll save a nice chunk of change and still own a superb, working watch that looks like the Royal Oak but yet is not a knock-off.

Excellent & elegant watch - worth every penny!
At the last moment splurged on a high end Swiss made watch and so glad I did. Hesitant at first to purchase from Amazon but no stress to have worried. Came in the original box and packaging - very impressive. Difficult to determine from picture the scrupulous size on wrist. I'm petite and have small wrists and the watch is perfectly proportioned - doesn't be in my arm/wrist with band or dial. It's simply gorgeous! Had my local jeweler (approved Baume & Mercier)to get rid of a couple links and the sales person was remarking what a beautiful watch and she'd make unfaltering my $5,000 investment was taken care of properly! Couldn't be happier or more delighted with this buy - it's such a bargain. Thanks Amazon!

I had a lot of problems!!!!!!
I bougth this take note three months ago, the bottom to change the date is broken and amazon warranty didn't change the alert they said that fix the watch, but that is open the watch and a luxury watch doesn't must open the awake to, now they couldn't solve the problem and I have to remain with it damaged.
Time-honoured and timeless
I bought this a few period ago and am really happy with the purchase. I have been following this watch for a while and have been to jewellers to get a price on this item and also to be versed more about the brand. Baume & Mercier is one of the oldest watch makers ever! The Riviera is a classic piece that doesn't look tedious, even though it was first created in the 70s'. It is light on the wrist and suitable for all occasions. I like it and would strongly recommend it! Thanks Amazon!
My new favorite wrist-watch
This is a talented looking watch, and I've never seen it on anyone else, which living in Los Angeles is a big deal. I wrestled with myself for a month about getting this lookout. I usually get immediate buyer's remorse as soon as I succumb to my addiction and hit BUY on something as frivolous and overpriced as a blue blood timepiece, but the second I opened the box and saw this baby that all went away. I love the juxtaposition of the matte blackguardly finish on the bezel and dial against the polished steel of the case and subtle detailing of the chrono dial. The dial itself is unreservedly stunning with just the right amount of orange to black contrast. A great masculine, lithe looking watch, but not so much that its ostentatious. (Not to step on any toes, but come on Panerai, its big enough already) The chronograph development is of the highest quality, very crisp and substantial when you push the buttons and pull the crown, like you would conjecture from a premiere Swiss watch house like B&M. Admirable watch, solid construction
I've already received multitudinous compliments on this watch. I'm very happy with the purchase. Currently it is enjoying more wrist time than many of my other watches (including a very vulnerable IWC Portuguese). It's my 4th automatic watch so far, and the first that doesn't have a leather strap. Hand-crafted automatic movements are definitely the way to go.The sailcloth strap turns out to be a good material for diving or swimming, and also gives the keep safe an elegant yet casual feel. The watch is rather heavy, and has a solid presence, as most well built unavoidable watches should. Also, I have a very small wrist, but I'm able to pull off this watch without it looking ridiculous at all. I should also cite that the strap has a deployant clasp (not sure if the pictures on amazon show that), which is an added bonus. I be convinced of the movement to be a Valjoux 7750 - the same as in the IWC Portuguese Chronograph, as well as many other pieces.The only complaint I would have...

I can't bicker with any of the reviews posted - I ended up purchasing this watch without even trying it on, and there is no buyers remorse here.This facsimile of B&M is no longer available by the manufacturer, which is why Amazon is marking it down a hefty 63% (at the time of this calligraphy).All I can say is get one while it is in stock. To give a little bit of background, I currently own a Movado (also a beautiful watch, see my other reviews) and I was looking for something a bit more modish and casual. I tried on a few Tags to see how they would feel, but none of them had the same character as this watch, and they all felt very bulky on my smaller wrists.Not this one. The obese dial is offset by a beautiful sailcloth strap which accentuates the whole piece. The movement (including chronograph) is eerily reminiscent of the Tags I tried on. Not convinced what the other reviewer...
As a matter of fact has a problem with. Does he just think its ugly? What about the quality of the watch? baume et Mercier is second to none. If you like the splendour of this watch based on the picture you will love this watch. If you are obsessed with James Bond and hanker after to dress like him then you obviously you may want to look elsewhere. But if you want an expertly crafted grandeur watch from a company known the world over then this may be the watch for you.

Initially I saw them in the inform on and despite having in my personal collection 2 OmegaS, Breitling and Panerai, I firmly resolute to buy this perfect "time-keeper" one day, and not by the reasons of the very ETA's 2893-2 caliber or 11 grams of "yellow associate" :) used in this model but thanks to its overall perception and feasibility.Passed some months and one day on the very Amazon they appeared with a very-very admissible promotional price... I took that opportunity and "voi-la" I periodically share with this perfect exemplar my days and life...Completely satisfied with the movement and quality of creation...even the polished niceties do not disturb my mind...

I bought this make beacause I had only big sport watches that don't even fit inside the sleeve when you're wearing a suit.Pros:The looks are scathing. The picture is not good enough to show how nice the black dial and the bezel looks.The caliber is ETA. With an eye to and with a reserve of about 30-40 hours. It is not an expensive omega co-axial caliber , but works good fine.The crown is screw-down to improve the water resistance. (i'm not diving with this watch at all, but the swindle down crow makes it fell solid and increase the life span of the crown sealant.)Delicate big hands easy to read. They have superluminova to help you see them in the dark.Deployment bucklecons:There are itty-bitty wear marks on some links after a few weeks.(no big deal they are hard to see and well... this is a dress qui vive for not a sturdy PVD coated outdoor watch and the links can be polished or replaced).Summary:Tidy looking watch...

I like this protect
I bought this sentry when I had a business trip to the US this Sep.I have watched this watch for about 2 months and found it gains about 14 seconds per day, but it's best enough for a mechanical watch, and if adjusted, the torlerance can be much smaller. But I just want to leave it as is, and may have it adjusted after 2-3 years upon the maintanence day.The scrutinize itself looks much better than the picture on this website displays. Get it and you will like it.
