Description

Blending a close to of timepiece history with a smoothly modern style, this Cartier Pasha stainless steel women's self-acting watch offers a contemporary European complement that will never go out of style. Originally designed for the Pasha of Marrakech in the 1930s to assent to him to safely swim while still wearing a watch, Cartier's Pasha was one of the earliest water-resistant wristwatch designs. This exemplar, with a water resistance of 330 feet, or 100 meters, is suitable for swimming and snorkeling. The spheroid watch case--which measures 35mm wide (1.4 inches)--is topped by a flattened, warmly polished bezel, and it's accented by a distinctive domed, screw-down crown. The rose pink dial features an uplands square of small minute indexes, which is surrounded by thin stick markers, stylized Arabic numerals at the dwelling hours (supplemented by dotted luminous marks), black-outlined luminous dauphine hands (with sharp-tipped seconds hand), and a date window between 4 and 5 o'clock. It's completed by a modular join stainless steel bracelet band with a polished finish to match the bezel.

An robot-like (or self-winding) watch is fitted with a device (rotor) that automatically winds the bounce by using the force of gravity. It needs no battery, but it will stop if you have been physically inactive for an extended space of time--as long as you're moving, the watch will stay powered. Swiss watchmaker Abraham-Louis Perrelet invented the self-winding process in 1770. It worked on the same principle as a modern pedometer, and was designed to wind as the owner walked.

Pasha Seatimer Eye
I have a mass of very nice watches in my collection, and my Pasha Seatimer undoubtedly receives the most compliments. The 40.5mm circumstance is absolutely perfectly sized for a medium/large wrist, and doesn't overwhelm the senses like the 45mm watches you now see on the merchandise. The weight is heavy so you are always aware of the watch, and despite being fairly unassuming, the look gives off an grand masculine appearance that grabs attention. Power reserve is approximately 30 hours or so, and I use a OK watch winder to keep it synced when I alternate watches. I have yet to meet anyone else on the street that has one, so there is a sense of creativeness that will set you apart from the masses.
A particular timepiece
I'm a look at junkie. There are really no two ways about it. I love timepieces, and I always have since I was 12 or 13 years old. You'll never find me without a take care of on my wrist or in my pocket. If I had a lottery windfall I would surely head to the nearest high-end watch over boutique to do some heavy damage. I think a Patek Philippe and/or a Jaeger-LeCoultre would obviously be in order. However, the reality check is that I don't have that kind of money, and I can't drop $20,000 on a watch. In defiance of its diminutive price tag in comparison, the Cartier watch I purchased was a splurge for me, a splurge I've waited and squirreled to a different place money to purchase for many years. When I saw this new model in the Pasha line, I knew the time had come to act.I am well-timed I made the purchase because the watch has a unique look. It is different than the other watches in my burgeoning collection, and it embodies what I regard about Cartier watches, particularly the Pasha models. Namely, it has...

Customer Reviews

I have my uncertainties.
A combine of months after buying this watch from Amazon.com one of the hands inside the dial fell off (possibly I dropped it) I took it into the local Cartier dealer to get fixed.. A couple of days later I got a call forceful me that the technician had opened the watch and discovered that the screws were not "original Cartier" screws. I pressed them for more particulars but they would not provide anymore. I was charged $150.00 for the repairs. I did not tell them I bought it on Amazon.com out of arrant embarrassment. But obviously this raises a ton of red flags as to why this watch bought NEW on amazon.com would have non original cartier screws? Is it a jab-off? Is it used? Was it bought new, ripped for parts, and then sent back by another customer? I don't know. Also, I find the bezel to rotation a bit too freely compared to other Cartiers of the same model.. but this might just be me. So much time had elapsed when I bought it off Amazon.com...
Huge watch, better price!
This is my sponsor Cartier watch. I also own the Roadster, which is nice and sporty. When adding to my collection, I wanted something rounder and dressier, something that would waggon out. I made a great choice with the Pasha Seatimer. As the previous review states, it is a heavy watch, but a fantabulous size. The combination of the brushed steel sides and band compliment the polished bezel surely nicely. I also went to the Cartier mansion on Fifth Avenue here in NYC to get it sized and they were astounded at how little I had paid for it. Of route, the service was top notch. They even polished my older Roadster at no charge. You can't go wrong with the Seatimer or Cartier.
100% Factual
Brought circumspect into 5th Avenue Cartier Mansion and had them check serial number and take back off watch. 100% authentic. Large deal!
