I got this cautious of from Amazon as a gift from my husband a few months ago. Last month, we found that there was a $300-400 problem with the circuitry. Our make store told us to have the repair fixed under the warranty. I called Amazon with the gift reception in hand but I did not have the exact price so they refused to honor the warranty. I don't know how you can have the exact payment if you get the watch as a gift. My husband found his original receipt but Amazon refused to honor the commitment when he called with all the required information. He just got the run around on line in India for 20 minutes . It is not merit it. Buy from an authorized dealer.

I have one and it's de facto great. It fits every situation from casual to formal. I would suggest a watch winder to go along with it, as it's master to take off the watch when you're not really using it (such as when you're at home), and putting it in the watch winder.Also, Cartier can service the lookout at any of their locations. I've had it brought to them many times and they have done it for free. The last time, they completely buffed it and removed all the scratches off it. Looked unambiguously brand new.If you're trendy and looking for something that will last, backed by a very strong reputable company, then this watch is it. Loving terrible Watch, Great Customer Service!
I recently purchased this men's Tank Francaise for my bride - she loves it. She has a ladies Tank, but prefers the size of the full-size men's version - it looks great on a feel discomfited wrist. I have worn a Cartier for 10 years - they are great, reliable timepieces. This new Tank keeps shapely time as well, and has approximately 24 hours power reserve.Amazon customer professional care was awesome - the watch came with a small scratch on the crystal, I returned it and got a replacement safeguard in perfect condition in three days and they reimbursed me for the insured return shipping. I'll buy my next watch from Amazon.

Don't Buy Peak End Watches on Amazon
Anyone shopping for a rich end watch should avoid Amazon. The item I purchased arrived and was inoperable. I attempted to home-coming reciprocity the item and it was immediately shipped back with a notice that Amazon would not take it back claiming there were scratches on the band. After numerous calls to fellow service and a flurry of emails, Amazon finally informed me the watch was covered under their covenant program. I had to ship the item to their service center (at my own expense, including the intial shipment to try and turn in the item) and still I have no working watch for my wife to enjoy. To date I am out the cost of a very expensive observe, and the cost of two separate UPS shipments - including insurance coverage.If you are thinking of purchasing a safeguard on Amazon, go directly to the manufacturer. Trust me, it will save you a lot of time, frustration and effort.

Nightmare ~
Ordered this by-product online as a special birthday present. I received the item within three working days from Amazon; only to find that this particular had been previously sold and reissued again. The watch is absolutely beautiful, but the bracelet clasp was broken (unable to fasten following the vendor's instructions). I received notification back from Amazon, they had received the shield back for a replacement; however, the notification referenced "battery dead" as the reason for the replacement. I wanted feverishly to re-order, but I am sure they will simply re-issue the same watch back to me. Warning: do not try to resolve problems with Amazon online; I talked to more than three unfamiliar speaking customer service agents (all very nice); however, it remains all talk and no action! You will NEVER have the break to speak with anyone who has the ability to resolve problems. It is such a shame; the watch is beautiful.

i was at the end of the day happy with my purchase from amazon. i saved approximately $1k off sticker price of this watch and then didn't have to pay tax and/or shipping. i preference this classic design and am so glad i was able to get it at a great price and not have to worry about it being real. i took it to my municipal jeweler and told him where i got it-and said if it came from amazon itself, no worries.

Consumer Beware!!!
Do not buy this or any other stiff end watches from Amazon!!!! This is a grey market item sold directly by Amazon that is not supported by a Cartier covenant. Moreover, the watch arrived inoperable and although I returned it the same day it was delivered, Amazon has refused to accept the benefit because of "scratches" on the clasp. The watch has never been worn. Please do not make the same mistake I made. Trust me, the savings are not importance it. BTW, I have purchased over 2100 items on Amazon and was shocked that they would behave this way.

puke my bonus on this classic + elegant, automatic-movement timepiece 11 years ago. it's type + loveliness remains till today! I've received countless compliments on it.this midsize visage sits low + snug. it contours to the shape of the wrist + is perfectly sized. all the metal + links are slippery.. not like some of the other super-expensive brands I tried.I had this watch on everyday + the 'battle-damage' scratches show the rough wear I put it through :) after 10 years, the automatic-movement needed an 'over-drag' due to wear + tear. since this is my 1 + only luxury watch, I thought it would last forever + had not taken speculator care of it by sending it for regular servicing.. it only had 1 service in it's 8th year.still extremely satisfied with this finely crafted abiding beauty!

Only received my order for this watch and am more than pleased.Even though I am a woman I chose the man's Seiko instead of the wife's. The price is better, it's larger and easier to read. I agree with the other reviewers that this is a sensational looking ageless watch. Fit's like a glove to even my smaller wrist, so ladies do consider this man's watch...you'll not be failed.I also appreciate that it arrived fast and on time. I could hardly wait at it was.
