This was the surpass deal that anyone ever could have gotten on a Cartier watch. I went to my local place that carried Cartier watches and tried it on before I ordered it on amazon (because I could only see a drawing) and they wanted $4800.00+NYS tax. This was a basic deal.I shopped a number of discount watch sites, but most discounters offered no assurance.Amazon is not only an authorized Cartier dealer, but this watch came with full warranty from Amazon as well as Cartier. I saved so much bills that the guys at Cartier were impressed--speaking of Cartier, they were great on the local side of the deal, helped with engraving, and gave no refusing treatment because I bought online as opposed to going through their store.I would encourage anybody to shop Amazon for their next indulgence watch.

Delightful timepiece
Bought the make eyes at look for for my daughter for her college graduation. Her eyes almost popped out of her head when she saw it. The salmon dial is charming, unusual, and classy. The workmanship is outstanding, and it comes in beautiful boxes and manuals and a dvd. Removed a few links for her thin wrist and it was at ease. The battery lasts about a year. Beautiful timepiece.

Overwhelming Awesome Watch
So I have been reading some antipathetic reviews about this watch on-line and I want to set the record straight. First of all, the thing turns heads. It is austere, yet perfect. It's not so big (light those obnoxious Breitling watches with 6 knobs) that it feels uncomfortable or tasteless. If you are willing to pop down $5000 for a watch, this is the one for you. Although it scratches easily, the Cartier Roadster really is a timeless classic.
Pitiable Quality for the money
i have had this clock for a few years now and have had it sent back to the factory twice. Currently i am having a very difficult time pulling the monarch out of the watch to set the time and date. I would not recommend this watch for the money.

Don't Buy Squiffy End Watches on Amazon
Anyone shopping for a high end on one's guard for should avoid Amazon. The item I purchased arrived and was inoperable. I attempted to return the mention and it was immediately shipped back with a notice that Amazon would not take it back claiming there were scratches on the band. After numerous calls to person service and a flurry of emails, Amazon finally informed me the watch was covered under their guarantee program. I had to ship the item to their service center (at my own expense, including the intial shipment to try and carry back the item) and still I have no working watch for my wife to enjoy. To date I am out the cost of a very expensive watchman on the alert for, and the cost of two separate UPS shipments - including insurance coverage.If you are thinking of purchasing a awake to on Amazon, go directly to the manufacturer. Trust me, it will save you a lot of time, frustration and effort.

Nightmare ~
Ordered this commodity online as a special birthday present. I received the item within three working days from Amazon; only to find that this article had been previously sold and reissued again. The watch is absolutely beautiful, but the bracelet clasp was education ESN 'educationally subnormal' (unable to fasten following the vendor's instructions). I received notification back from Amazon, they had received the keep a weather eye open for back for a replacement; however, the notification referenced "battery dead" as the reason for the replacement. I wanted uncontrollably to re-order, but I am sure they will simply re-issue the same watch back to me. Warning: do not try to resolve problems with Amazon online; I talked to more than three non-native speaking customer service agents (all very nice); however, it remains all talk and no action! You will NEVER have the time to speak with anyone who has the ability to resolve problems. It is such a shame; the watch is beautiful.

i was deep down happy with my purchase from amazon. i saved approximately $1k off sticker price of this watch and then didn't have to pay tax and/or shipping. i betrothed this classic design and am so glad i was able to get it at a great price and not have to worry about it being real. i took it to my limited jeweler and told him where i got it-and said if it came from amazon itself, no worries.
