The Mille Miglia Tycoon (replica 16/8961) offers a highly accurate automatic movement that's been certified by the Controle Officiel Suisse des Chronometres (or COSC, the seemly Swiss chronometer inspection body). The squarish watch case measures 46mm (1.81 inches) and 13mm thick (0.51 inches), and it's topped by a raised bezel with impressed tachymeter readings, which can be used to measure time over distance. It also includes three silver-tone chrono subdials, brilliant-tipped hands, and a date window at 5 o'clock. It's completed by a textured crocodile leather strap in inane blue with tonal stitching. Other features include a scratch-resistant sapphire semiprecious stone and water resistance to 50 meters--suitable for swimming but not for diving.
An automatic (or self-winding) sentry is fitted with a device (rotor) that automatically winds the spring by using the force of sombreness.
