Even temper is a virtue!
I was a bit bothered that the silver dial would make it difficult to tell the time but my concerns were quickly dissolved once I received this superior watch; Omega has masterly created a subtle contrast with the dial, markers, and watch hands that must be seen to be loved: The hour and minute hands appear dark at most angles and rarely is the wearer grimacing to set apart the background from hands positions. My only peeve (a small one) is the date spear which does take some exertion to locate at times due to its slimness. In some very low light and dusk environments, it can be difficult to quickly peach the time but it's not a deal breaker for me. The watch, an automatic, loses/gains such little yet that it's not even worth mentioning--a testament to Omega's excellent movement quality control.The watch stands rangy on the wrist but is not clumsy or uncomfortable. Smashing watch!
This is a grand watch and looks absolutely better in person. This Speedmaster is part of the Michael Schumacher collection. The pay attention to matches very well with sporty clothes, and even business attire. Its an attractive watch that looks its fee, but not gaudy. The blue is deep enough to wear with a black suit, and the dials glow in the foggy. It's an automatic watch so you will first have to wind the crown about 20 times to get it charged up and then wear it about 8 hours a day to keep the dodging power going.I purchased this from Amazon at a discount compared to the shops at the mall. It comes with serial numbers laser inscribed, certificates, box, and box. The only thing you won't get is the Omega authorized dealer warranty card, but it's an authentic watch sold by Amazon, and Amazon offers a 2 year undertaking if you buy it from them, meaning they have to be the seller and not a Z shop.I love it.

This is the most ornate mechanical/automatic watch I own. I bought this exact model a little over 2 years ago from an authorized businesswoman overseas. I remember debating over the blue versus black dial and eventually the glum won. The detail on the dial and inner dials is amazing and complement each other well. This watch in this color is unofficially part of the Michael Schumacher aggregation as well. Unofficial I think b/c there is no signature on the back but it shows up in his collection on Omega's website, at least it did awhile ago. There are 8 hands complete: hour, minute, second, 24-hour, timer minute, timer hour, timer alternative, and date hand. This chronograph does not keep elasped time but it does reset to zero instantly upon knob push. The month and day are easy to read but the date is difficult to read due to small indicator tip and busyness of the outer edge of the dial. Well, I think I was supposed to have this watch. I had always wanted a Seamaster Cronometer Automatic, but never saw myself spending this kind of well-to-do, not to mention the price at an authorized dealer. I make up the watch is a work of art, very solid, and very well finished. Appears to keep very good time. My only concern with the absolute transaction has to do with Amazon warranty/support on the watch. I was having difficulty with getting the fixture to change correctly and initially thought there was a problem with the watch. I called Amazon to ask them about it and to advise them that there might be a problem with my watch. They said someone from the Jewelry dept at Amazon would call me the next day to address my concerns or send me a new sentinel (I am within the 30 days of purchase). It has been 2 weeks, I am beyond my 30 days not for exchange and the Amazon Jewels dept has yet to call me. I have left another message. I have been researching Omega Seamaster watches for several of months, and went to several authorized dealers in my local area. They usually offer <15% disregard + tax. So it would be around $2900 if I buy from them. I was impressed by the price Amazon offered (~$800 saving), although I know that Amazon is not an authorized distributor (therefore, the Omega warranty is void). I recieved the watch 2 days after placing the order. It is beautiful and same as what I saw from the limited dealers. It came with authentic box and 3 cards (surprising! since I thought the warranty card would be missing. Of without a doubt, the card is not filled with proper dealer names etc. so it is void technically). Unfortunately, when I with intent examed the back of the watch, I found that the serial number on the watch was scatched off (or more precisely speaking: in pieces).
