A of for the collector who prizes the ideosyncratic.Omega has created a quirky day/date automatic (a big deal in the take heed of world) that isn't the price of an automobile. All automatics are a little less exact than quartz as far as timekeeping goes, but my speedmaster only gains about two minutes per month, and since I like using it, I don't be firm re-setting it from time to time.The actual user manual is on-line, very specific and vivid about the controls.But if you have no fascination with the art of watchmaking and the "complications" of authentic, quality Swiss watchwork, go with a quartz; it's less "travail"...

Spectacular watch!
This is a resplendent watch and looks absolutely better in person. This Speedmaster is part of the Michael Schumacher collection. The peer at matches very well with sporty clothes, and even business attire. Its an attractive watch that looks its value, but not gaudy. The blue is deep enough to wear with a black suit, and the dials glow in the recondite. It's an automatic watch so you will first have to wind the crown about 20 times to get it charged up and then wear it about 8 hours a day to keep the keep to power going.I purchased this from Amazon at a discount compared to the shops at the mall. It comes with serial numbers laser inscribed, certificates, box, and the actuality. The only thing you won't get is the Omega authorized dealer warranty card, but it's an authentic watch sold by Amazon, and Amazon offers a 2 year bond if you buy it from them, meaning they have to be the seller and not a Z shop.I love it.

This is the most intricate mechanical/automatic watch I own. I bought this exact model a little over 2 years ago from an authorized trader overseas. I remember debating over the blue versus black dial and eventually the downhearted won. The detail on the dial and inner dials is amazing and complement each other well. This watch in this color is unofficially part of the Michael Schumacher whip-round as well. Unofficial I think b/c there is no signature on the back but it shows up in his collection on Omega's website, at least it did awhile ago. There are 8 hands whole: hour, minute, second, 24-hour, timer minute, timer hour, timer flash, and date hand. This chronograph does not keep elasped time but it does reset to zero instantly upon handle push. The month and day are easy to read but the date is difficult to read due to small marker tip and busyness of the outer edge of the dial. One Powerful Watch!
I have wanted one of these watches for a elongated time. I confess, I partly just wanted a luxury watch to prove I could do something organize of frivolous but expensive for myself. I bought it because I WANTED IT. I have to say, it is a beautiful watch. It keeps fantastic experience and yes, it is the kind of watch that makes people notice. However, what has really impressed me is how tough this id is. I am not typically hard on my things, but this watch is taking a beating and it looks almost new. The crystal is soul unharmed though it's been slammed into a steel door frame (hurt me a lot more than the watch) and I believe I backed over it with my car. I do not differentiate what happened for certain, but I had dropped it when leaving for work, didn't realize this and found it later. The hook on the band is bent and unusable right now, but the crystal and the rest of the band are still clean. I don't allow my stepping on it could have bent the clasp the way it is, it took more weight than I can...

Omega watches at Cyclopean prices!
I bought this watchman on the alert for for my wife. It came in the factory box in perfect condition except it has a Amazon warranty which is longer than the makers guarantee. Very nice watch with serial numbers in place and it was at least $500 cheaper than buying from a retailer. I have no problems in recomending Amazon for your fine watch purchases.

A Pure Combination of Form and Function!
I saw this care for in a display case at an authorized dealer for first time earlier this year and was drawn to it instantly! I've always been tense to diving watches and chronographs. As such, I own a Rolex Submariner and an Omega Speedmaster Professional--both classic watches. The Submariner has an provocative depth rating (300 meters) and the famous "cyclops" date display. The Speedmaster has the chronograph r but no date and needs to be manually wound. It is rated to 100 meters. I've always wanted to come by a watch that combined them both. The older Seamaster Professional Chronograph, with its 300 meter rating, came suspend, but I've never took to the styling of the watch nor the bracelet on it. I like the styling of the Rolex Daytona, but it does not have the enough depth rating for my liking (only 100m), and the chronograph pushers have to be screwed down for underwater activities. Furthermore, it has no rendezvous display. Then came this new Seamaster Planet Ocean Chronograph...

It's actually sad. I love Omega so much but this watch was an utter disappointment. The movement, the Omega 3313, has been hotly debated, but the virus had in a wink hit mine. The chronograph, after almost completing a revolution, would stop at 11:59 and halt the whole watch. I could never get it going again. Omega should fix this monstrous movement.
Not what I expected
I saw this alert for in a national chain on sale, but we saved $1,100 by buying on Amazon - 1) bigger disregard 2) no sales tax. First of all a warning about buying from Amazon. If you buy this watch at and Authorized Dealer, the co-axial escapment watches have a 3 year commitment. All other Omegas have a 2 year warranty. Since Amazon is not an authorized dealer, they replace the Omega warranty with their own bond. However, they only provided a 2 year warranty. So I guess I lost a year of warranty for the $1,100 of savings. Advantage - I had to take the watch to shop to have it fitted properly.On a full wind, it usually stops keeping formerly after 30 or so hours. (closer to 30) That is pretty dissappointing. Because it is so big, you can't wear it all the time. I have had the watchful of for a month, and I have had to readjust the time about 10 times.Also, when I do manage to wind it, it still loses about 4-5 seconds a day. That is over 30 seconds a week, that is 2...
