Bought this as a marrying gift for my new bride... A fine watch, heavy, solid feel and keeps first-rate time... Looks wonderful and classy - good buy on Amazon and hope to never have to use the Amazon seller's assurance... Note as this is a grey market product there is no manufacturer's warranty... so far so probity...
This sentinel is beautiful
My girlfriend definitely LOVES this watch. It is very well made and stylish. Raymond Weil makes a fine product. The clasp on the band is very composure....it's a double clasp that's released with a button that has to be squeezed on both sides, which makes it good, but easy to remove if you want to. The mother of pearl face is very nice, and the diamonds on the numbers energy. The crown even has detail on it. The back of the watch has a sapphire crystal window so you can see the guts of the watch moving....catchy awesome.Save your money and avoid the Rolex. I think Rolex's are nice watches, but this Raymond Weil is unprejudiced as nice, for a fraction of the price.

Had this keep a sharp lookout for for probably 15+ years. I wear it pretty much every day in every circumstance which means anything and everything from business meetings in the establishment to getting it bashed into things and dunked into wash buckets in the barn. It is extremely enduring has never needed ANYTHING but new batteries every few years and still looks great.

This is a very good-looking modern watch. I am 5' 5", 120lbs, and it looks incredibly elegant on my wrist, like nice jewelry. If you have meaty wrists, or are overweight, I wouldn't bother. It's definitely a fine ladies' timepiece, and I would never in a million years say it looks like a toy (see antecedent review). I've received many compliments on this particular watch more than any of my others. The modern part is the bracelet, which is very finely machined into an choice mesh that catches light in a very cool dimensional way. I love this watch, and I generally like bigger pieces. It looks significant on the left hand, with platinum and diamond rings, and for chunkier, more masculine looks, I have a out of the ordinary watch. It's beautiful, and functional, and looks and feel like a high quality swiss timepiece.

I have always dreamed of owning a at bottom stunning watch and this Raymond Weil watch made my dreams come true. It is absolutely gorgeous and I would have a claim to this purchase as my "purchase of the year". It is perfect in every detail and looks a million dollars. Superior choice!
Bought this for my ball for Valentine's Day - an excellent choice! The right choice for 2012 - large/heavy/gleaming - and this watch is MUCH nicer in person than on website. She gets many compliments about the mother of pearl, diamonds and uniqueness of seeing the wing.Two things: She has very small wrists so she had to have several links removed and it still looks fine - not too big. Also, note it is unconscious so it needs to be worn to keep it wound.Great price for a beautiful watch.
