Terrific Watch to Bring out the Manliness in you!
That's valid. This watch will bring out the true MAN in you. I bought this watch a month ago and I am very pleased with this watch. It's my first G-Paralysis watch. I've been a longtime user of a Seiko Divers watch. It's been my only watch before the GW3500B. I obvious to try out the G-Shock line of watches from Casio. My Seiko Divers watch is still as strong and durable as ever, since I bought it back in 1989. I wanted to get out of my "consolation zone" and try out a G-Shock. Casio Men's GW3500B-1A G-Revelation Aviator Series
I wanted to drop-kick this off letting you know how amazing Altivo did on getting the watch to me. I ordered it May 5th and it was at my door May 6th. Now their headquarters are only 70 miles in a different place but still that's pretty impressive. Now for the watch... I've been needing a watch for about 3 years now. Prior to this I had a TAG Heuer that was stolen from me. I was cross one's heart and hope to die considering replacing it with a Rolex watch but just couldn't spend the money only to hazard the same thing happening to it. So, I've been looking at mid-range watches trying to find something that wasn't too expensive but was of good trait and of course looks good. Also, being a little OCD I was really interested in one that set itself using the Atomic announce signal. Well, I first came upon the Casio GW3000B-1ACR, which is a nice looking watch. The one major pretty pickle it has is that there is no LED light for night time viewing. Not to mention the timer is limited to something like 24 minutes. Not surely sure...

The Make eyes at look for caught my eye with the cunning nite glow in all the advertisements!But to my surprise when I received my watch I put it in totality darkness to see the awesome briteness of it, but it was'nt there!!! Wow the advertisement showed a super brite lambent watch and all I was holding was a very dimly lit watch that was hard to make out what I was seeing? Well I called a fabricator of the watch and they said your eye's have to adjust to it before the glow comes out!!! NICE!!!A friend of mine ordered the Tracer military tritium Keep safe and we did a comparison "WOW" I guess you get What you pay for! His Watch was Ten times as bright and as soon as you put in darkness it was there for the eyes to see with no waiting for eye to put to rights!!! So Buyers Be Aware of this!!!It is a very Nice watch but takes time to see in darkness!
Oily, handy - great watch for the price
Ok, first to get the caveats out of the way. As others have said, the colour is not nearly as bright as in the picture. Being a firearms aficionado, I've had some experience with tritium in gun sights, so I take it it's limitations somewhat. I suppose there may indeed be brighter watches out there, but do you really NEED them that bright? For me, I have no trouble seeing the markers in any fluorescence (or lack thereof).It should be noted, the second hand and the dot on the bezel are NOT tritium, but standard luminosity-in-the-dark paint. It serves well enough though, it charges quickly and glows quite brightly.Also, it may have no more than been my watch, but the color of the case and band was not silver as in the pic, but a dark matte gray with corpse-like markings on the bezel. Actually reading the watch itself, it seems to have a TITANIUM case and band! Penetrating Looking Casual Watch with a Real Moon Phase
It's very awkward to find a real moon-phase watch that is also casual in style, reasonably priced, and less slim. I've been looking for one for years. In many watches the moon dial is a fake, in that it only reflects AM/PM. The Stuhrling is the actual thing. And while most real moon phase watches cost thousands of dollars, weigh too much, and are large on your wrist, the Stuhrling Aviator is sharp looking and comfortable to wear. I don't want to take mine off.

Well built, fashionable watch. Great deal.
When the take note of arrived I was very impressed by the packing and presentation. The instructions helped me figured out how the clasp worked and I set the every now, date and moon phase. Everything about this watch is great. It's very sleek and stylish, and the time and meeting are easy to read. I love the clasp, once you set the size around your wrist taking on and off the watch takes about 5 seconds. This is my first Stuhrling be on the watch but it won't be my last.

Together Beautiful Watch
Decent got this yesterday and I have to say it looks even better live than it did online. The sun-ray dial face reflects lightsome in different ways depending on the angle and light and overall it's just gorgeous. The moon point of view is very cool and one of the main reasons I chose this model. The oval shape is also unique and I turtle-dove the slightly raised numerals that give this watch depth and dimension.It DID take a while to set, as other reviewers have indicated. Idea for Stuhrling - why not ship this watch already set to the full moon on the phase complication. That way all the consumer would need to do is to set the season of the last full moon and then advance to the current date. It did take me about 20 minutes to set this watch. That's a LOT of crown spinning!My only climax is that the numbers on the date complication are so small that they are very difficult to read, even with brand new glasses. High-minded watch, but.....
This is a grand aviator watch, but there are very vague instructions provided on how to set all the functions. I contacted the seller and they were very willing to have me replacement it if I wasn't satisfied, but not too willing to persue additional information from the manufacturer. I'm keeping the regard and maybe my 12 year old grandson can show me how to set it.

A Current Mechanical Jewel
I bought this accompany for myself for Christmas 3 years ago and still love it.At the time I really wanted a Breitling Navitimer Fighter but they were selling for around $3,000, and I knew I wouldn't sensation comfortable walking around with thousands of bucks on my wrist.I happened on this watch on Amazon and was at the drop of a hat taken with it. Let me say, that the photo does not do this watch justice. When I received the Seiko I was surprised that it had much more coruscation than this photo imparts. And what really impressed me was that the face has great depth to it. The photo on Amazon shows a outstretched black surface with a mishmash of white lettering all over it, but in reality it looks much more like a mini metal Roman Colliseum with raised sides and a recessed forefront plain under thick glass. The face is about 3/8" thick. Very substantial and classy looking. Also, there is more contrast between the scintillating center of the wrist band next to the flat silver sides than this photo...

toboggan rules rule!
I bought this wrist-watch for the slide rules function on the bezel. It is very handy for me in my profession to be able to do multiplication, disagreement, ratios and conversions on the watch. The only problem is that the numbers are a little smallOver all very well built and persistent watch.

Larger than a pocket calculator
I bought one to make restitution for my aging Seiko, and love it. Good ol' Seiko Chronograph in the middle, and the bezel does uniform non-flying multiplication and division in addition to the airplane-related calculations, though you wouldn't cognizant of it from reading the instructions. Here's how:Turn the outer ring so that the number you want to multiply is vis- the 10 on the inner ring, and then find the number you're multiplying by on the inner ring and read the offshoot from the outer ring opposite that.Division is the reverse of multiplication -- line up the dividend on the shell ring with the divisor on the inside, and read the quotient opposite the inner 10.
