I have one and it's actually great. It fits every situation from casual to formal. I would suggest a watch winder to go along with it, as it's first-class to take off the watch when you're not really using it (such as when you're at home), and putting it in the watch winder.Also, Cartier can service the vigil at any of their locations. I've had it brought to them many times and they have done it for free. The last time, they completely buffed it and removed all the scratches off it. Looked root brand new.If you're trendy and looking for something that will last, backed by a very strong reputable company, then this watch is it. I am also all things purchasing the lady's version for my wife.

I recently purchased this men's Tank Francaise for my spouse - she loves it. She has a ladies Tank, but prefers the size of the full-size men's version - it looks great on a immature wrist. I have worn a Cartier for 10 years - they are great, reliable timepieces. I got this inspect from Amazon as a gift from my husband a few months ago. Last month, we found that there was a $300-400 problem with the circuitry. Our cautious of store told us to have the repair fixed under the warranty. I called Amazon with the gift counterfoil in hand but I did not have the exact price so they refused to honor the warranty. I don't know how you can have the exact evaluation if you get the watch as a gift. My husband found his original receipt but Amazon refused to honor the assurance when he called with all the required information. He just got the run around on line in India for 20 minutes . It is not merit it. Buy from an authorized dealer.

I was looking for a master-work style watch, like a cartier, but without the price tag. I also wanted quality and not some cheep cartier replica, so this seiko is holy! Some people who reviewed this watch have suggested that it is too small, but I think it is perfect- this size makes it a master-work. If it were bigger, it would look like a men's watch, which I know a lot of women are buying since they prefer that look, but if your soup is more along the lines of a classic Cartier tank watch and you want to spend a lot less, this is perfect.

Dry-clean and Classic
This keep an eye on completed my search for the perfect iconic Jackie Kennedy Cartier tank watch. It is made well, unlike many other copies. The idea sold at the JFK Center had glitzy rhinestones, too much cheap bling for my taste. This watch looked naked, elegant, and true to the the famous 1969 black and white photo of Jackie in her hateful turtleneck. I was delighted to have it arrive so promptly after placing my order. I did a lot of research, even purchased a alike resemble watch through another company. I returned that one in favor of this purchase. Seiko's SNF672 Speaks Polish and Class
The Seiko representation SNF672 is a very distinguished looking dress watch that signals class. Its white features with black Roman numeral hour indicators along with the gold hour dots is very high-priced. Honest received my order for this watch and am more than pleased.Even though I am a woman I chose the man's Seiko instead of the helpmate's. The price is better, it's larger and easier to read. I agree with the other reviewers that this is a sensational looking first-rate watch. Customer Beware!!!
Do not buy this or any other considerable end watches from Amazon!!!! This is a grey market item sold directly by Amazon that is not supported by a Cartier agreement. Moreover, the watch arrived inoperable and although I returned it the same day it was delivered, Amazon has refused to accept the reparation because of "scratches" on the clasp. The watch has never been worn. Please do not make the same mistake I made. Trust me, the savings are not good it. BTW, I have purchased over 2100 items on Amazon and was shocked that they would behave this way.

fatigued my bonus on this classic + elegant, automatic-movement timepiece 11 years ago. it's rage + loveliness remains till today! I've received countless compliments on it.this midsize mien sits low + snug. it contours to the shape of the wrist + is perfectly sized. all the metal + links are uneventful.. not like some of the other super-expensive brands I tried.I had this watch on everyday + the 'battle-cicatrix' scratches show the rough wear I put it through :) after 10 years, the automatic-movement needed an 'over-attraction' due to wear + tear. since this is my 1 + only luxury watch, I thought it would last forever + had not taken advance care of it by sending it for regular servicing.. it only had 1 service in it's 8th year.still extremely satisfied with this finely crafted immortal beauty!

There are two reasons often set for this tradition. The first (and likely apocryphal) is that "IV" is a representation for "Ivpiter", or Jupiter, the supreme Roman god, and that population were afraid to invoke his name on timepieces.The real reason is aesthetics: watchmakers want to keep an estimated vertical symmetry in symbol width, and "IIII" is at better parity with "VIII" than "IV".As for "suitability" of IV versus IIII, Roman numerals weren't standardized until long after the ancient Romans. Use of forms like "IIII" and "IIX" (for 8) and "IC" (for 99) was tolerably common and, at times, preferred. It's a modern convention that there's only "one correct way" to write Roman numerals.

Don't Buy Elated End Watches on Amazon
Anyone shopping for a euphoric end watch should avoid Amazon. The item I purchased arrived and was inoperable. I attempted to earnings the item and it was immediately shipped back with a notice that Amazon would not take it back claiming there were scratches on the band. After numerous calls to consumer service and a flurry of emails, Amazon finally informed me the watch was covered under their pledge program. I had to ship the item to their service center (at my own expense, including the intial shipment to try and compensation the item) and still I have no working watch for my wife to enjoy. To date I am out the cost of a very expensive clock, and the cost of two separate UPS shipments - including insurance coverage.If you are thinking of purchasing a pay attention to on Amazon, go directly to the manufacturer. Nightmare ~
Ordered this spin-off online as a special birthday present. I received the item within three working days from Amazon; only to find that this component had been previously sold and reissued again. The watch is absolutely beautiful, but the bracelet clasp was deficient (unable to fasten following the vendor's instructions). I received notification back from Amazon, they had received the eye back for a replacement; however, the notification referenced "battery dead" as the reason for the replacement. I wanted feverishly to re-order, but I am sure they will simply re-issue the same watch back to me. Warning: do not try to resolve problems with Amazon online; I talked to more than three distant speaking customer service agents (all very nice); however, it remains all talk and no action! You will NEVER have the possibility to speak with anyone who has the ability to resolve problems. It is such a shame; the watch is beautiful.
