My first actually nice watch
I'm new into this type of purchase, but after doing my research, and scouting around for something nice, I was pretty sure I was going to like this one. I was avenge. This is a great watch. It's simple, but everyone notices it. I've been wearing it for about an hour and I've already gotten tons of good wishes. The pictures don't do it justice.
unquestionably elegant watch
I've been wearing this eye for over 3 months now and so far I have no complaints. This watch is very elegant and has a nice fit on my hand. The dial is big and has a very clean, polished look to it. Anyone buying this watch should know that this watch is a steal of a deal. It really stands out compared to the other banal yet good watches like tag heur and rolexes that most people have.when I say this watch stands out, I dont bring out big and bulky with a 'look at me' attitude, but rather a subtle yet classy look. It goes well with a ton of my shirts and evening exhaust.All in all - very happy with it. When I'm not wearing it, I put it back into a watch winder case that I bought from amazon and it works considerable.

Pleasant watch
This is an unexceptionally amazing watch. Its style is both very sober and elegant. It enables you to know what time and what day it is, don't envisage anything else. The black croco leather strap is also very well manufactured.Actually, this is a typical Baume et Mercier product: okay, elegant, beautiful.
Very fine watch
A very dangerous watch indeed. Classy, simple and elegant. And Baume et Mercier is a very well respected brand. One thing to note is that although it's from head to toe a wide watch (diameter), it's very thin and light.Overall, definitely recommended.

Entire fiasco - BEWARE when buying this.
Intial scrutinize: (I wrote the day after I bought my 1st)stylish, elegant, understated, very thin, light weight, great buyhappy I bought it and fitting got one for my brotherUpdate -The watch is a few months old.Style wise - I love it.HOWEVER - I am concerned it might dive back about 10min a week.I may have to return and repurchase - which is annoying - but smooth if done through amazon - I hope.2nd update -The take note definitely loses time. I looked down and thought I was on time - when in fact I was late - multiple times. Not what you imagine from a new 1200$ watch. Further troubling is what I came to learn. Initially I contacted amazon opinion that my fastest course of action was to return this watch and repurchase another. Able piece and great price
I have had this accurate same model for over a year and a half and have had ZERO trouble with it. Baume, does NOT by any means, make a economy and shoddy product, contrary to what other Amazon users suggest. The look is fantastic with the powerless balance wheel and it is a very elegant piece that people who knows watches notice. The migration is top quality as Baume is owned by the Richmont group who also owns Cartier, IWC, Piaget, A. Lange & Sohne, and Panerai. These are not crappy watches, but a dedicated piece with a great portfolio behind it

Outstanding and Elegant Automatic Watch.
I have many Swiss Watches and wanted an basic but elegant watch. This is very accurate for a automatic watch. Some watches have movements that are unseen, some with movements that are seen on the back of the pore over only and some are seen on the front of the watch which are very busy and cover the complete front. This watch has a movement that is seen but does not overtax the front of the watch. A great everyday watch and dress watch.

A Classy Watch
Comprehensive, I like this watch! I've only had the watch for a month, so I can't comment on its mechanical reliability or longevity. Unbiased a few comments on the design of the watch. It's a classy design, but it's also a very dressy looking watch; more so than I expected. So it doesn't go well with unsure attire. The silver dial looks almost white under most lighting. The hands, although blue in the see in the mind's eye, appear almost black from a frontal view. They only show the cool blue color when viewed from steady angles. The bezel is very thin, so it makes the dial appear fairly large, especially if you have a under age wrist. Weight wise, the watch is surprisingly light, lighter than my Tag quartz chronograph. The expo back is actually only a small circular window towards the top of the back. It's not a full crystal back like I've seen on automatic watches by Oris or Longines. On the mark time. wow.

The watch face detail and blued hands are the most appropriate features of this watch* The watch wears big because there is no bezel and because it is very thick / tall.* This watch has no active second paw; the only second hand is the chronograph function.* The Valjoux 7750 movement in this watch keeps spacious time but it is fairly loud and wobbly - I have read some reviews where people say they like to heed and feel the watch winding on their wrist but I would prefer a quieter movement.* The band and grasp are excellent. Not a fan of the grab or the support contract...
Fastidious dial, love the blue hands. Decent casing, but an ebauche 7750. Not too bad for the pelf, certainly nothing original really. However, the clasp isn't the greatest. Be wary that the design of the clasp system can jeopardize the safety of this piece. The primary buckle merely pushes through the strap holes, but there's nothing to win it there other than the friction of metal on leather. My Hamilton (H32616553) has a clasp that is more secure. B&M can do better. For another $1k you can pick up a Sinn, or for another $2k, a Glashutte Unprecedented. Other than this, a fair piece for the price.Edit: A little over a month of ownership and the watch has stopped operating. I was accepted to mention how loud the movement is, but another poster mentioned this, so I assume it's normal for this watch. Proved and nice
The pay attention to looks and feels really solid. Simple design and classical colours offset this watch even better - it does not need any whistles and many dials to show off.The bracelet lock could be greater though - in summer time it sometimes even irritates the skin.I was wondering how the blue colour of the hands will look like. Baume et Merciet (identifiable bomb-eh me-air-cyah) is a classic timepiece, rated highly by GQ as a classic timepiece and warmly recommended as basically the "bottom" of the top tier of the elite manufacturers. Amazon has fantastic prices on it, and although you forswear the original 12 month manufacturers warranty, with Amazon it is authentic and they stand behind it with their own 2 year agreement, and it's well worth it to buy it here, in my opinion.This particular model arrived in beautiful packaging with a gorgeous box and pillow, with three parts to the box. Very close.The clasp is definitely slightly more unusual than many other Breitling or other high-end watch straps, but unstrained to adjust and use. It took me a minute to figure it out, but when I did, it was easy to use... it looks like your normal "belt buckle" style on the outside, but has folded metal mechanisms inside that thwart the watch from falling off your wrist, for example, when trying to buckle...

Well done watch
This actually is a beautiful watch -- I am very happy with my purchase. Two things I did not know: 1) the sentry requires movement to keep it from stopping (so if you leave the watch for a day without wearing it, you will need to reset it) and 2) the keep an eye open for is not completely sound proof so you can hear the dials moving when it is close to your ear. Both minor things and otherwise I judge devise it is very striking and pretty.
