Don't buy a Breitling gaze at
I purchased a new Breitling Pluton Navitimer several years ago. Recently, the unexpectedly pin in the bracelet broke and the end piece fell off and was lost. I took the watch to the Breitling Boutique in NYC. I was told that I was SOL -- Breitling no longer "supports" the Pluton, and no parts are close by for repair. My watch is now worthless and has no collector value. DONT BUY A BREILING!!

A Fresh Mechanical Jewel
I bought this make eyes at look for for myself for Christmas 3 years ago and still love it.At the time I really wanted a Breitling Navitimer Fighter but they were selling for around $3,000, and I knew I wouldn't the feeling comfortable walking around with thousands of bucks on my wrist.I happened on this watch on Amazon and was promptly taken with it. Let me say, that the photo does not do this watch justice. When I received the Seiko I was surprised that it had much more glitter than this photo imparts. And what really impressed me was that the face has great depth to it. The photo on Amazon shows a laid low black surface with a mishmash of white lettering all over it, but in reality it looks much more like a mini metal Roman Colliseum with raised sides and a recessed forefront plain under thick glass. The face is about 3/8" thick. Very substantial and classy looking. Also, there is more contrast between the glinting center of the wrist band next to the flat silver sides than this photo...

ignore rules rule!
I bought this keep one's eyes open for for the slide rules function on the bezel. It is very handy for me in my profession to be able to do multiplication, separation, ratios and conversions on the watch. The only problem is that the numbers are a little smallOver all very well built and indestructible watch.

Improve than a pocket calculator
I bought one to repay my aging Seiko, and love it. Good ol' Seiko Chronograph in the middle, and the bezel does quarterly non-flying multiplication and division in addition to the airplane-related calculations, though you wouldn't recognize it from reading the instructions. Here's how:Turn the outer ring so that the number you want to multiply is facing the 10 on the inner ring, and then find the number you're multiplying by on the inner ring and read the result from the outer ring opposite that.Division is the reverse of multiplication -- line up the dividend on the skin ring with the divisor on the inside, and read the quotient opposite the inner 10.

i was so exultant to see this watch. its really a great product from stuhrling original. love the big face and the importance of this watch. the only downside to this watch for me is the leather band, i knew this band wasnt the apt one for this so i ordered the breitling style leather strap from ebay, and now it look like a 5 grand keep a weather eye open for. this watch has a real similarity with the breitling bentley edition watches, and that would be my one of the reason to buy this and ofcourse its from stuhrling so im not buying some budget-priced product. overall, i would recommend this to anyone who loves watches.

Satisfactory watch bad band
This on the lookout for came exactly as advertised however the watch band is cheap feeling. The face of the await is great but the band definitely needs to be replaced. Upside is it comes with a 2 year promise and the watch itself is excellent quality
