Matchless piece and great price
I have had this wrest same model for over a year and a half and have had ZERO trouble with it. Baume, does NOT by any means, make a budget-priced and shoddy product, contrary to what other Amazon users suggest. The look is fantastic with the powerless balance wheel and it is a very elegant piece that people who knows watches notice. The moving parts is top quality as Baume is owned by the Richmont group who also owns Cartier, IWC, Piaget, A. Lange & Sohne, and Panerai. These are not crappy watches, but a big piece with a great portfolio behind it

Pleasant and Elegant Automatic Watch.
I have many Swiss Watches and wanted an subtle but elegant watch. This is very accurate for a automatic watch. Some watches have movements that are unseen, some with movements that are seen on the back of the look at only and some are seen on the front of the watch which are very busy and cover the complete front. This watch has a movement that is seen but does not oppress the front of the watch. A great everyday watch and dress watch.

Eminent Watch
Purchased the On one's guard for on 2/27/12--rec'd very quickly thru "prime". The quality, appearance, and function, exceededmy expectations. I have been monitoring the Loosely precision of the swiss qtz movement -- to the second for the two weeks I have had it.Sure the clasp as others have said can be demanding to set, but it is the system that some high end watches are using ( Brietling for example).After you seat the mechanism in the band oubliette, you are all set--and it provides security . Accurate watch, poor clasp
I was defeated with the watch. I originally bought it for its looks and styling which I was not disappointed with. After trying it on, I found it very difficult to enclose. Then after having it on for a few hours, it came loose and fell of my wrist. This happened numerous times and evident to return it. I am not sure if others had the same problem or I was not correctly engaging the clasp, but I felt for the price of the qui vive for, it should be a simple process.

Handsome Watch
Oerall I am over the moon with the styling and accuracy of this watch. It took me some time to figure out how the clasp works. Once figured out though I have very joyful with the watch. I don't use the stop watch that often but I don't give it a 5 star rating because I find the stopwatch function, how they designed it, not sound. Who cares about 10ths of seconds and it only goes to 30 minutes. I would use the stopwatch if it tracked minutes and hours.

Engaging watch
This is an positively amazing watch. Its style is both very sober and elegant. It enables you to know what time and what day it is, don't envision anything else. The black croco leather strap is also very well manufactured.Actually, this is a typical Baume et Mercier product: brilliant, elegant, beautiful.

A very sensitive watch indeed. Classy, simple and elegant. And Baume et Mercier is a very well respected brand. One thing to note is that although it's relatively a wide watch (diameter), it's very thin and light.Overall, definitely recommended.

Total number fiasco - BEWARE when buying this.
Intial review: (I wrote the day after I bought my 1st)chic, elegant, understated, very thin, light weight, great buyhappy I bought it and just got one for my brotherUpdate -The keep one's eyes peeled is a few months old.Style wise - I love it.HOWEVER - I am concerned it might fall back about 10min a week.I may have to restore and repurchase - which is annoying - but smooth if done through amazon - I hope.2nd update -The watch definitely loses outmoded. I looked down and thought I was on time - when in fact I was late - multiple times. Not what you expect from a new 1200$ vigilant. Further troubling is what I came to learn. Initially I contacted amazon thinking that my fastest process of action was to return this watch and repurchase another. However that is a decent amount of pain - and who is to say that the second watch won't have that problem. So I and my wife figure it may be a battery issue - not such a great issue on a brand new...

Immense watch buuut lacks the guarantee
This is undoubtedly a great watch, it wears just right and looks great.Nevertheless it is sent without a traditional guarantee, given that it is an expensive watch I believe this should be a must.That's why I didn't give 5 stars, it casts worries about its authenticity.

It is undemanding to cast marks over the steel details in front of the watch. Machine is good, but noisy as well, it is a massive watch.

Excellent Watch
There are many variations of this dummy, Riviera, and many colors for this variation. But be sure to get this one with the rubber strap as opposed to bracelet and sooty dial as opposed to white and 3 white chrono/seconds circles as opposed to 2 and lastly, the non-rotating bezel. Why? This is a hardened-ringer for the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore! Well, as least from far away and to non-watch savvy admirers. The Queenly Oak Offshore is a really beautiful watch but cost just way too much (into the tens of thousands). By getting this, it's almost a cheaper style of it except of course it's not AP and it's not an octagonal shaped case but one of a twelve-sided polygon. This is still a beautiful BM watch and nothing to be sheepish of with precision timing and chronograph function. You'll save a nice chunk of change and still own a first-rate, working watch that looks like the Royal Oak but yet is not a knock-off.

A Ritzy Watch
Whole, I like this watch! I've only had the watch for a month, so I can't comment on its mechanical reliability or longevity. Barely a few comments on the design of the watch. It's a classy design, but it's also a very dressy looking watch; more so than I expected. So it doesn't go well with indifferent attire. The silver dial looks almost white under most lighting. The hands, although blue in the depict, appear almost black from a frontal view. They only show the cool blue color when viewed from inevitable angles. The bezel is very thin, so it makes the dial appear fairly large, especially if you have a humble wrist. Weight wise, the watch is surprisingly light, lighter than my Tag quartz chronograph. The display back is actually only a small circular window towards the top of the back. It's not a full crystal back like I've seen on automatic watches by Oris or Longines. Pleasant watch
This actually is a beautiful watch -- I am very happy with my purchase. Two things I did not know: 1) the peer at requires movement to keep it from stopping (so if you leave the watch for a day without wearing it, you will need to reset it) and 2) the observe is not completely sound proof so you can hear the dials moving when it is close to your ear. Both minor things and otherwise I call to mind a consider it is very striking and pretty.

A few Ins and outs and Information
Note reviews are subjective and this one is no different, here is some information that I feel would be useful to know before purchasing* The take heed of face is light silver but it looks almost pure white. The watch face detail and blued hands are the most excellently features of this watch* The watch wears big because there is no bezel and because it is very thick / tall.* This watch has no active move hand; the only second hand is the chronograph function.* The Valjoux 7750 movement in this look for keeps great time but it is fairly loud and wobbly - I have read some reviews where population say they like to hear and feel the watch winding on their wrist but I would prefer a quieter downward movement.* The band and clasp are excellent. The color is very dark brown, almost black. The clasp can be familiar with any standard replacement strap.Conclusion: I wanted a classical looking dress cautious of with a chronograph feature to add little character and this watch fits the bill. Not a fan of the fastening or the support contract...
Slight dial, love the blue hands. Decent casing, but an ebauche 7750. Not too bad for the in clover, certainly nothing original really. However, the clasp isn't the greatest. Be wary that the design of the clasp system can threaten the safety of this piece. The primary buckle merely pushes through the strap holes, but there's nothing to procure it there other than the friction of metal on leather. My Hamilton (H32616553) has a clasp that is more secure. B&M can do better. For another $1k you can pick up a Sinn, or for another $2k, a Glashutte Primeval. Other than this, a fair piece for the price.Edit: A little over a month of ownership and the watch has stopped operating. I was common to mention how loud the movement is, but another poster mentioned this, so I assume it's normal for this watch. Unbroken and nice
The clock looks and feels really solid. Simple design and classical colours towards this watch even better - it does not need any whistles and many dials to show off.The bracelet lock could be raise though - in summer time it sometimes even irritates the skin.I was wondering how the blue colour of the hands will look like. They are mystical blue and they do look beautiful - in most cases you wont notice they're blue, but when you do notice, it well-founded makes watch look even more solid.

My first actually nice watch
I'm new into this tender-hearted of purchase, but after doing my research, and scouting around for something nice, I was pretty sure I was going to like this one. I was fairly. This is a great watch. It's simple, but everyone notices it. I've been wearing it for about an hour and I've already gotten tons of good wishes. The pictures don't do it justice.

I've been wearing this alert for over 3 months now and so far I have no complaints. This watch is very elegant and has a nice fit on my hand. The dial is big and has a very clean, polished look to it. Anyone buying this watch should know that this watch is a steal of a deal. It really stands out compared to the other common yet good watches like tag heur and rolexes that most people have.when I say this watch stands out, I dont hostile big and bulky with a 'look at me' attitude, but rather a subtle yet classy look. It goes well with a ton of my shirts and evening creep by.All in all - very happy with it. When I'm not wearing it, I put it back into a watch winder case that I bought from amazon and it works marvellous.
