Couldn't be Happier with this wait for
I'm by no means a observation expert but I did think long and hard about the prospect of buying an Omega vs TAG vs anything else. When all was done, I opted for the sportiness yet courtliness of this TAG he decision came down to Grand Carrera or Carrera Day Date. I chose the Day Date and made a great choice. I get good wishes on it all of the time. The size of the monstrosity took a little getting used to especially the elevation of the watch at 16.5mm. My business partner went with the Omega Planet Ocean -- Although also a fine fantastic watch. I simply like the aesthetics of this watch. One last thing - it's the one of the only TAGs, if not the only TAG that actually has both the DAY and Era displayed. Amazing detail.

Prodigious
I have had this guard for almost 6 months now, and it hasn't let me down. Part of owning an Automatic watch is the need to wear it daily, or renounce it on a winder. I wear the watch daily, only choosing to wear one of my other watches when working in the garage, yard, or doing household renovations as to not demote the crystal or damage the watch more than daily wear. The pictures and videos of this watch do not do it legitimacy, it is far better in person, and I would suggest before purchasing, go to a local retailer and check out the watch, see it on your wrist, and make a big deal of sure the size fits you well. It isn't cheap and if you aren't happy with it, then you should know before you buy.I have large wrists, and the corpulent face, and thickness of the main body fits my wrist and body style well. Purchased this attend to from Amazon, sold and gauranteed by Amazon, LLC. It is a quality authentic watch in brand new brainwash as advertised. Saved a considerable amount of money compared to purchasing through an authorized dealer. By purchasing from non-authorized retailers you do not get a undertaking card and cannot have your watch repaired by TAG. Also, you do not know the origin of the watch. I only bought the watch through Amazon because it was sold by Amazon a unfailing company. I would take extra caution in buying such a product from an Amazon retailer.

Mind of this watch
Influential looking watch. Has Tag name and cache but it is defective. The crown popped off three times in the last year. The first duration only 4 months after I purchased it. Been repaired under warranty but only as a courtesy as only the movement is covered by this non-authorized guarantee. Be very careful purchasing this watch from a non-authorized seller as you do not get the Tag warranty.

Nothing but problems wth this note!
I have owned this eye for 2 years and have had nothing but problems with it. The main issue is with the crown and push buttons coming off. Tag claims this is through misusage and therefore charge me $472 to fix it each time! However this a known problem with the watch. Sportswatch- I don't think so. My guidance is don't buy one- buy an Omega.

Radiant mid-range watch
Bought this a few weeks ago and I'm mostly gratified with it. My one complaint is with the second hand sweep. Not as smooth as I hoped. My dad has a Rolex that cost him the same as this skinned for's list price (nominally $8000 as Amazon helpfully advertises) and the second skim is flawless. Smooth as butter. Not so with the RS2.I also note that Tag Heuer's very own Calibre 36 has a movement that is much smoother and aesthetically pleasing.This snotty and admittedly stingy expostulation aside, the watch is a very attractive time piece and keeps great nevertheless. Be warned that despite the titanium carbide coating, it is a very flashy watch and not as muted or basic as it may seem over the web.
Alluring Watch.
I lastly did it.Just an awesome watch. The only thing I don't like about it, is that if you don't wear it, it doesn't keep time for great. You will never have to buy a battery but you will need to get an automatic movement case to keep current time when not wearing it. Unless, you system to wear it everyday.This is the Ferrari of watches in my opinion.
Matchless watch... tricky.. but great
first of all the inspect feels amazing to the wrist and it doesn't weight at all...another great thing is that it does not last through out on the bling-bling department(which is what I like)... but watch ppl REALLY take notice of it...the aspect I have with it is that the crown is a screw-in type ( that's somewhat normal) but were it really gets tricky is that the start/end and the "reset" button are ALSO SCREW INS... so in order to use the chronometre feature you need to unscrew both of them all the way and when you are done u dearth to screw them in to keep the movement safeguarded from water....once we clear that hurdle the watch itself is astonishing.... I cant be any happier with the looks/feel of it... I cant wait to get 2 other straps so I can change the look every once in a while.by the way the mind weights 119 grams and measures 43.0 MM without taking the crown into measurement.

Stunning Watch
I have had this pay attention to for a couple of years now and it has quickly become my favorite watch. It's detail and quality often draw others eyes to it and I persistently receive compliments on it's level of craftsmanship. This watch seems to be indestructible in addition to it's aesthetically pleasing chart. I have worn this watch during all kinds of activity and have mistakingly banged it against metal doors and trunks, and several other surfaces. Luckless build quality, Tag does not stand behind their products
As the prior reviewer stated, this is a beautiful timepiece. The problem is that the one I purchased was poorly built and Tag Heuer does not typify behind their products.I purchased the watch new from an authorized retailer in June 2005. Within three months, the bottom handle had fallen off. This made it impossible to use the tachymeter/stopwatch function. I took the watch to the retailer and it was shipped to Tag Heuer in New York, where it took them hardly over nine weeks to replace the button. With shipping both ways, I was without the watch for a little over 10 weeks.I hope all was well, but within a year the bottom button fell off again. The watch was taken back to the retailer and sent back to Tag Heuer in New York. Again it was a hardly over 10 weeks from the time it was shipped to the time I got it back. Cannot see hands
I recently purchased the burnished faced Carrera watch because I wanted a different look to traditional chronograph watch atrocious faces. I think its a great timepiece, but my problem with this watch is that you cannot easily see the hands because of the grey on silver color. Unless you are in bright sunlight it is impossible to see the hands because there is no contrast between the fa and hands. I have sent it back to the manufacturers representative to get the face and hands changed to the black countenance and white hands (at no inexpensive cost !!!)I know that this combination will be much more readible because I have other watches like this. I did'nt believe readibility would be an issue but I found it is with this watch. Its been an expensive lesson to change my mistake.

What Longevity?
I made the conclusion to purchase this watch from a brick-and-mortar authorized reseller, since I was willing to pay a bit more for the factory commitment (and Amazon charges NY sales tax anyway). Big mistake.In the first six months of owning it, aside from management a bit fast, it looked great, felt solid, and had no problems. Then the date stopped flipping over- it would constrain up between the numbers, and require manual adjustment every day.So, like the good little consumer that I am, I brought it into my authorized Tag Heuer tradesman, warranty card in hand, and they sent it off to Switzerland. I get a phonecall about two weeks later saying that the top pusher for the fixture wheel was broken, and that Tag would not cover it under warranty, as I must have dropped or abused the watch. Pretty and classy
I didn't obtain this from Amazon so this is really a review on just the watch itself. First off, I would like to address all the other reviewers who complained about this surveillance's accuracy. I've had mine for just a little over a year now and it has consistently run about 8 to 10 seconds fast per day. This is Full NORMAL for a mechanical watch. Some mechanical watches will be far more accurate while others will be somewhat less. If this is NOT accurate enough for you, you shouldn't commotion buying a mechanical watch. Please just purchase a quartz watch and let the rest of us take advantage of the art of a finely crafted mechanical watch.Now onto the watch. It's 39mm across and only about 12 or 13mm thick so this is definitely not a large pay attention to by today's standards, but this is the reason why I like it. Some watches, especially dress watches, shouldn't be too large. My wrists are surely on the small side (6.25") but this watch looks perfect on me. It has a jet black...

Might be too picky but...
The nature of this watch says that it has both luminous hands and dots at the hour markers. My watch only has radiate in the dark hands. It's ok, I can still sort of make out what time it is, but has anyone else had this issue?

Astounding watch!
I gave this to my spouse as a "morning gift" (day-after-wedding gift) because she had been trying it out in a store and immediately fell in preference with it. I was also considering the slightly more expensive version with diamonds across the bezel. However, that one is an automatic, and I know that my trouble could care less about day-to-day maintenance of her watch. She just wants to put it on and trust that it will show the right time. Also, she said that one looked a smidgin too blingy for her taste.All in all, this is a very beautiful watch that really shines and glitters enough to be noticeable, but is still unadorned, classy and clean looking. It's obviously a bit expensive for being a quartz watch, but TAG Heuer is a virtuous Swiss brand and hopefully the quality will make it last for years and years to come. My woman was incredibly happy when she got it and treats it with the same respect as her wedding ring... so I think it was the bang on choice. ;)

Astonishing watch
My conserve just bought this watch for me and I love it. It is absolutely stunning! I love the simplicity of the pan and elegance of the diamonds. The face is larger than older styles, but not oversized. The band is unwritten yet updated with a wonderful shine. I have been a fan of my old Omega, but this Tag is perfect. Could not be happier.

1. Tag heuer watches are considered to be top grandeur watches, especially the automatic ones, aren't they? But why do retailers give only a 2-year-warranty for a tag heuer carrera guard? isn't is supposed to be a "life-long" or everlasting
Tag are mostly considered as unfailing watches and they have from mid range to very expensive but they are not considered as top quality watches such as AP, Piaget etc. I don't think any watches cames with a "life-force long" warranty.
