Penniless within a week
This vigil stopped working for me within a week of owning it. As other reviewers have already said, the mechanics in this watch are unsound, and the watch will often just stop, regardless of how wound up it is. Eventually, my watch stopped and never started again, so I was calculated to return it.It really is a beautiful watch, so it's a shame it's so flawed. Additionally, not having covey markers of any sort of the watch was a bit irritating, but it's easy enough to get used to it and learn how to guesstimate the duration. Delightful Timepiece
This is a good-looking watch, and is one that keeps accurate time throughout a day. Extremely satisfied with this purchase, however I took off one personage for two minor reasons:1. This watch is not an automatic watch, meaning that it has to be wound to keep the mores. A full wind will keep the watch running for about 40 hours (according to an Arkibos Representative), however I've noticed that is more like 30 - 35 hours. You can rodomontade the watch during the course of the day, in which case it wouldn't stop unless you forgot to wind it. This is the cover will all skeleton watches, however I just wish that the wind lasted for a little longer that what I have experienced.2. The move negative with this watch is that while it is keeping time, the second hand creates a fairly tawdry ticking noise while on the hand. The qui vive for crap - their service is worse
I received this keep safe a fifteen months ago as a gift bought through Amazon. I used it as a special occasion dress pore over. I used it three times and it stopped running. I had to send it to them with a ten dollar fee under their warranty. It took eight weeks to get back. I went to use it several month later and it stopped the first all at once I used it, exactly the same way it stopped before. I contacted their service center they said send it back without the ten dollar fee. I send it, with gains mail, in June - it is now October and I cannot get any word as to where it is. They don't reply to emails, don't answer their phone and don't come back voice mails. The watch is pretty as a picture and just as useful. If I still had it, it would tell me the right time at least twice a day - I can't even get that from it. Stay away from this company all together.
Vast watch and customer service. With some flaws.
For a chinese made unfeeling watch in a low budget range it seems to hold its own fairly well. The dial is easily visible with strict, easy to read numbers. Other than a slight misalignment of the 12, 9 and 3 dials for the most part it is perfect.The bind is a bit smaller than standard American bands and fairly narrow. The synthetic sapphire also seems to engross true to the name and after a few scrapes into things has been fairly scratch resistant.It seems to use an unknown Chinese etched travel for the parts that is found in several other brands such as Armitron and Stuhrling (Also owned by the owners of Akribos). This watch mainly has the usefulness of the very visible dial when compared to other "generic Chinese skeletons"However it does have a few flaws1)The oscillating importance is fairly stiff. Akribos XXIV Men's 'Saturnos' Skeleton Mechanical
This keep a sharp lookout for is very nice looking, and wears very comfortably. It is some times troublesome to see the hour and minute hands beacuse they seem to meld in to the background in some lower lighhting conditions. Like most automatic watches, this watch seems to gain about 5-7 seconds a day. I have this watch with both a suit at work and out with my wife in a more casual atmosphere and it goes very nice in either location. The case appears to be well constructed and the band is also well made and very comfortable. I would recomend this watch and think it is a trim addition for any watch collection.

A Humongous Beauty
I bought this babysit for for our 25th Wedding Anniversary. It is a beautiful piece however, it is extremely large and heavy. This is truly a pocket watch for someone who has some size to him to pull it off. My husband loves it and the compliments he gets every time he wears it.

I don't distinguish what some of the other people that bought this watch and then reviewed it badly were thinking. I just got the watch yesterday and its resplendent. Of course it doesn't look as good as the picture, nothing you buy on the internet does. I'm telling you this guard is great. I've only wore it once and got like 10 comments on it. Not only is it a looker its a great value. The diamonds are corporeal. Everything about this watch is high end. I mean look at the normal price of this watch. It was [...] and now its [...]. Can't lam out of here that. Yes its heavy and yes its huge. If you don't have a big wrist, you may have to remove a link or two. I have a normal size wrist and it is unchained on me but comfortable. That's the way I like my watches. Also has a stop watch built in. Overall if you want a bad ass, high end surveillance for a forth of the price. Buy this bad boy.

Very Hefty and dull
I bought this note for my boyfriend for Christmas, he picked it out. When I received it the face of the watch was huge and when he put it on it seemed to swallow up his give. He's an average size guy 6' 185 lbs. Also, the watch is nowhere near as sparkly and dramatic as the picture makes it seem. The diamonds are hardly noticeable and overall appearance was a bit disappointing.

Delightful watch
Without a hitch my most complimented time piece. It is accurate, well-made and truly an attention getter. The front and back crystals are extraordinary quality synthetic, keeping the price affordable. It is remarkably clear and perfectly impeccable. I fear that regular wear and incidental damage may eventually scratch the crystal, and I'm not unshakable as to the availability of replacements. As any true skeleton watch should be, this bad boy is a hand winder, and the "ticking" is not too snazzy for those unaccustomed to such a thing.My only complaint is that the manufacturer chose to pair this lovely watch with a horde that more closely resembles cured roadkill than leather. Really, the band is ugly as Dis. Fortunately, it is a standard size, and my local watch-shop was able to make the scourge to something more appropriate for this time piece.Its a great watch, looks fantastic on the wrist, and is reasonably priced for the wow agent it brings. Good work Akribos...

Talented look, but was not working
I ordered this keep a sharp lookout for as a present to my wife. It looks great. It is not a giant watch. I noticed that it was not working rightful after unpacking the box. I have adjusted the time and it began working. but 3 hours later it stopped to business again and I had to return it back. Maybe the battery was dead. But if you feel lucky, you can try.
Akribos Womens chronometer
This chronometer is a great deal when compared with other ceramic watches on the market. The style is classy yet fashioned for every day strain. The durability of a ceramic watch is great for people who want a nice timepiece on their wrist although they may m with water/kids throughout the day. I purchased this watch for my daughter who works as a teacher at a local Montessori principles. She changes diapers and works with with arts and crafts throughout the day. Splendid Watch
I bought this supervise for my boyfriend. He actually picked it out and it truly is beautiful. I wish they made a female version, or something be like. The only drawback for us was with the band. It tends to snag on the edges and overtime it has caused a nasty minor cut on my boyfriends wrist, near the outer-edge of his palm (on the pinky side). I recommend looking into buying a various band, but only if the current one gives you trouble.

First-rate watch
This is a good-looking watch at an unbeatable price. It's not too big but still substantial looking. It's not battery-operated, it's a wind-up which I in a general way don't prefer but in this case I think that a battery would spoil the look. Just a note: the stripe is snakeskin, not calf - this doesn't bother me but it might bug some people. The warantee is a nice added perk. Definitely recommended!

I just now received this in the mail. Bought it as a surprise gift for my girlfriend that has been wanting a watch for a wish time. It arrived in a long rectangular casing, which is of great quality, got her jumping in joy. :D.The wrist-watch itself is wonderful - gleaming as we opened it. She has a small wrist, albeit being a little thick, it looked superb with the pinkish hue - matched her fair skin very well.All and all, a classy, beautiful choice at an unbeatable guerdon. Definitely recommended!
